The newly launched Canada Greener Homes Affordability Program (CGHAP) also delivers direct, no-cost installs for qualifying low- and median-income households. Even in Vancouver’s cloudy climate, solar panels remain effective — the key lies in proper roof orientation, shading analysis, and, often, pairing the system with battery storage to maximize performance and resilience.
